G.H. Bass & Co. For Maharishi
Maharishi enlist heritage shoemakers G.H. Bass & Co. for a subtle camouflage rendition of the iconic Weejun Penny Loafer.
Handcrafted in a premium natural leather, the classic silhouette features an all-over deboss pattern using Maharishi house camouflage DPM: Bonsai Forest. Maharishi’s ethos of creating environmentally-conscious and long-lasting utilitarian clothing is coupled with G.H. Bass & Co.’s passion for crafting honest and hardwearing footwear.
The brand is renowned for introducing the world’s first penny loafer in 1936, putting a spin on a Norwegian farm shoe designed for “loafing in the field” – playfully dubbed Weejuns. 85 years later, they are still handcrafted ethically using the same traditional techniques.
