Far Afield is an independent, family-run brand founded in 2016 by brothers Mark & Chris Scholes. What began as a shared love for crafting quality garments has grown into a commitment to timeless design and ethical production. The brand's roots are in British design, but it's inspiration draws from the world’s rich tapestry of culture, craft, and everyday moments.
The Appa draws on the meeting point between traditional British sportswear and shirting. Knitted in Italian fine-wool yarn, it pairs a dark body with a broad ivory collar and matching three-button placket, creating a crisp, shirt-like neckline that sharpens the familiar rugby shape. Cut relaxed through the chest and shoulders, it is finished with ivory corozo buttons and fine ribbing at the cuffs and hem.
