Limited Edition Artist Collaboration: FIELDS x The Ninevites
The General Jacket has a tailored cut and is constructed in a heavyweight combed Cotton Twill. It features front angled welt pockets, a single inner breast (secret) pocket, and adjustment tabs on the sleeves and waistband to ensure a perfect fit. Its lining is 100% Cotton Jacquard. The abstract artwork on the lining, entitled 'Zenzile Design', was created in collaboration with The Ninevites, a collaborative platform founded in 2016 by Nkuli Mlangeni-Berg.
They believe in working with practices that are respectful to humans and the planet. With a focus on hand weaving rugs in mohair, in a small town of Prince Albert in the Karoo of South Africa. Nkuli is a South African designer living in Stockholm.
She is passionate about black culture, women empowerment,
youth development and heritage preservation.
