The General Jacket has a tailored cut and is constructed in a heavyweight combed Cotton Twill. It features front angled welt pockets, a single inner breast (secret) pocket, and adjustment tabs on the sleeves and waistband to ensure a perfect fit. Its lining is 100% Cotton Jacquard. The dreamlike artwork on the lining was created in collaboration with Michael Taylor, a Cape Town based narrative artist. His work draws from nature and the human condition.
The artwork, entitled "Moments Away", represents changing seasons - leaving something behind to explore something new. A personal and reflective experience in which time and nature are calmly and carefully observed. The complementary blue and orange colours symbolise this agreement between shifting spaces, thoughts and intentions.
